Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer Lead England to 23-Run Victory in 2nd T20I Against Pakistan
Pakistan was bowled for 160 runs while chasing 184 runs.

England secured a vital victory in the second T20I against Pakistan, defeating them by 23 runs at Edgbaston. This win gives them a 1-0 lead in the four-match series after the opening match was abandoned due to rain.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. England capitalized on the opportunity, posting a competitive total of 183 runs on the board for the loss of seven wickets.
Their skipper, Jos Buttler, led the charge with a blistering knock of 84 runs off just 51 balls. Will Jacks provided valuable support with a quickfire 37 off 23 deliveries, while Jonny Bairstow and Phil Salt chipped in with handy contributions of 21 and 13 runs respectively.
Pakistan Fell Short
Pakistan’s chase faltered from the outset as they failed to build on a strong start. Fakhar Zaman impressed with a rapid 45 runs off just 21 balls, but wickets fell at regular intervals thereafter.
Babar Azam, the Pakistan captain, managed a steady 32 runs from 26 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed (23 runs) and Imad Wasim (22 runs) offered some resistance, but the lack of partnerships proved costly for Pakistan.
England’s bowling attack displayed a clinical performance. Reece Topley emerged as the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets in his economical spell of 3.2 overs. Moeen Ali and the returning Jofra Archer chipped in with two wickets each, restricting Pakistan to a total of 160 runs, all out in 19.2 overs.
