Pakistan Cricket Board Sacks Entire Selection Committee Post World Cup Exit
Pakistan finished at the fifth position in the World Cup 2023 points table.

The Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday, November 14, sacked the entire selection committee following their national team’s exit from the 2023 World Cup.
The once-dominant Pakistan side, formerly the top-ranked ODI team, experienced a reality check in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, managing only four wins in nine matches and missing out on a spot in the tournament’s semifinals.
Earlier, Morne Morkel, the bowling coach of the Pakistan team and former South African pacer, resigned from his position due to the team’s underwhelming performance in the prestigious tournament.
Additionally, there have been reports that Pakistan’s head coach, Grant Bradburn, team director Mickey Arthur, and batting coach Andrew Puttick are likely to be released from their respective roles.
Former Pakistan cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq has resigned from his position as the chief selector of the men’s national cricket team. The resignation comes amid a string of disappointing performances from the Pakistan team in the World Cup 2023.
