Quinton de Kock Becomes First Player in World Cup 2023 to Score 500 Runs
Quinton de Kock smashed a fourth century in World Cup 2023.

Quinton de Kock, the South African wicket-keeper batter, maintained his exceptional performance in the 2023 World Cup by notching his fourth century of the tournament during Wednesday’s encounter against New Zealand at MCA, Pune.
With 114 runs scored from 116 balls, Quinton de Kock has achieved a significant milestone in the ongoing 2023 World Cup, making him the first player to cross the 500-run mark. His current tally now stands at 545 runs after seven matches, at a strike rate of around 113.
David Warner, the Australian opener, and Rachin Ravindra, the New Zealand all-rounder, currently occupy the second and third positions in the run standings for the ongoing World Cup, with 413 and 406 runs, respectively. However, they both have some ground to cover to catch up to Quinton de Kock, who has already crossed the 500-run mark.
