Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, has been invited to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, scheduled to take place on Monday, January 22nd.
The star-studded guest list for the grand ceremony in Ayodhya includes cricket icons like Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, and other celebrated players.
As per a report from PTI, the Mumbai batter has received the invitation for the sacred ceremony on January 20 – just a couple of days prior to the high-profile event.
Rohit Sharma will captain the Indian team in a five-match home Test series against England, beginning January 25 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
It remains to be seen whether Rohit Sharma will join the event, particularly as Virat Kohli has already received approval from the BCCI to attend the grand ceremony in Ayodhya.
