Shikhar Dhawan has touched a special milestone while playing for Delhi Capitals (DC) against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Tuesday. The 34-year-old batsman became the fifth batsman to score five thousand runs in Indian Premier League (IPL).
Before this match, Dhawan was just 62 runs away to complete his 5000 IPL runs. He scored total 4938 runs in 168 IPL innings. Dhawan got to the milestone with a six over mid-wicket off the bowling of KXIP’s Ravi Bishnoi. He has also completed his second consecutive century in the same match.
