Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Winners

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, established in 2006, is India’s domestic T20 cricket tournament, named after the legendary cricketer Syed Mushtaq Ali. Over the years, it has become a crucial platform for showcasing emerging talent in the shortest format of the game.

Tamil Nadu stands out as the most successful team in the tournament’s history, clinching the title three times. They won the inaugural edition in 2006/07 and added two more titles with consecutive victories in 2020/21 and 2021/22.

Meanwhile, Karnataka, Gujarat, Mumbai and Baroda have each won the title twice. Apart from these multiple-time winners, several other teams like Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Maharashtra and East Zone have managed to win the title once.
