72 vs South Africa, Mirpur, Semi-final 2014

Virat Kohli was the hero of India’s T20 World Cup 2014 ride. He stole the spotlight in their semi-final clash against South Africa in Mirpur. The Indian hitter blasted an unbeaten 72 off 44 deliveries to chase down 173. 

77 vs Sri Lanka, Mirpur, Final 2014

India, put into bat by Sri Lanka after losing the toss, managed to score 130 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Virat Kohli led the charge with 77 runs off 58 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup fell short of the 30-run mark. In reply, Sri Lanka chased down the target in just 17.5 overs to clinch the title. 

89 vs West Indies, Wankhede, Semi-final 2019

In the 2016 semi-final against West Indies, Team India smashed 192 runs on the board, courtesy of Virat Kohli’s incredible unbeaten 89-run blitz from just 47 balls. But sadly, it wasn’t enough as the West Indies chased it down in 19.4 overs, winning the match by seven wickets.
