Komal Sharma, sister of Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Abhishek Sharma, recently shared a video on social media where both the siblings are seen playing basketball.

The video shows the Sharma siblings engaged in a friendly basketball shooting game at The Leela Hotel in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had travelled there for Qualifier 1 against the Kolkata Knight Riders, which they unfortunately lost.

While the team has now moved to Chennai for Qualifier 2, Komal decided to share a light-hearted moment from their Gujarat trip. The clip features Komal sinking a shot from a decent distance, while Abhishek misses an attempt from a much closer range.

Komal playfully took a jab at her brother’s basketball skills, captioning the video on her Instagram story: “I swear I am a better player than him.”

This social media activity comes amidst Komal’s rising popularity this IPL season.

She’s become a familiar face at stadiums, cheering on her brother Abhishek who has been in phenomenal form.

The left-handed opener has impressed everyone with his batting, scoring a whopping 470 runs in just 14 innings at a staggering strike rate of 207.04.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will be up against Rajasthan Royals in the 2nd Qualifier on Friday, May 24 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
