The England cricket team has arrived in India ahead of their five-match test series against India, starting from January 25 in Hyderabad.
The series holds great significance in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. Currently, Rohit Sharma-led India occupies the second spot, while England is in the eighth position.
Earlier on Sunday, England’s batting sensation, Harry Brook, withdrew from the entire series citing personal reasons.
In his absence, middle-order batter Dan Lawrence will step in for the upcoming five-match Test series against India.
