[Watch] Glenn Maxwell Receives Thunderous ‘RCB, RCB’ Welcome in Bengaluru, Departs with Golden Duck in AUS vs PAK World Cup Clash

Glenn Maxwell departs without scoring run against Pakistan in Bengaluru

Glenn Maxwell’s World Cup woes continued as he was dismissed without scoring, facing a golden duck in the match against Pakistan on Friday, October 20 at M Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru.

It all happened on the last ball of the 34th over when Shaheen Afridi, bowling from around the wicket, delivered a length ball. Maxwell, shifting his front foot, attempted to drive it straight down the ground, but instead, he lofted it in the air, leading to a secure catch by Babar Azam.

Meanwhile, the moment Maxwell walked out to bat at M Chinnaswamy, he was greeted with a resounding welcome from the crowd, as “RCB, RCB” chants filled the air.
