Imad Wasim was caught smoking on camera during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 final match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United at the National Stadium in Karachi on Monday, March 18.
The incident of Imad Wasim smoking in the pavilion was captured immediately after the Islamabad all-rounder left the field, having taken a memorable 5/23 and shattered the backbone of Multan Sultans.
Imad Wasim left the field after completing his full over bowling spell at the end of the 17th over. Initially believed to be taking a rest after his bowling stint, he was spotted smoking on camera.
The incident happened immediately after Naseem Shah delivered the fourth ball of the 18th over, with Multan’s scoreboard reading 127/9. It was also seen that he attempted to hide the cigarette from cameras but he was caught red-handed.

Major cricket authorities strictly forbid the public display of cigarettes and alcohol, and Imad’s actions may result in sanctions from the Pakistan Cricket Board.
